Modern Handwriting Book 1 is designed to facilitate the following aspects of the teaching of handwriting:
- revision and consolidation of correct movements for all small letters, using starting points, directional arrows
- revision and consolidation of correct movements for all CAPITAL letters, using starting points, directional arrows
- introduction and practice of 2/3-letter words, using starting points, based on small letters only
- introduction and practice of words (names) beginning with CAPITAL letters
- check-upâsmall letters, CAPITALS
- introduction of SENTENCES, tracing and copying, with starting points
- choosing words, matching them to pictures and writing them correctly
- final check on all letters.
